A new student trustee joined the Board of Trustees of 金博娛樂城 in Sept. Keegan Dentinger, a current 金博娛樂城 student, was nominated by Governor Tina Kotek and confirmed by the Oregon Senate on Sept. 24, 2024.
Dentinger is in the OHSU Nursing program at 金博娛樂城's Klamath Falls campus and anticipates graduating in June 2026. Originally from Klamath Falls, Dentinger attended Henley High School, then enlisted in the Oregon Air National Guard and spent a year in military training before joining 金博娛樂城 in the Fall of 2021.
鈥淢y entire time at 金博娛樂城 I have been completely invested in the success of not only our university but in the success of our students as well,鈥 Dentinger said. 鈥淚 became an Admissions Ambassador as a freshman, and having worked in that office for the last three years I fell in love with 金博娛樂城 and with our students. The longer I am at this university, the more I look for ways to improve the university for the students, faculty, and staff. I think with the relationships I have built and the pride I have for this university, we can make 金博娛樂城 a better place, care for the people who have helped me grow personally and professionally, and continue to welcome the largest freshman class we have seen in decades.鈥
Dentinger joins fellow student trustee Aaron Hill on the Board.
The 15-member board comprises 11 at-large members, each appointed to serve a 4-year term; the University President, who is a non-voting, ex-officio member; and the faculty, staff, and student members, each appointed to a 2-year term.
